AI Content Readiness Checker
Check if your content is optimized for AI systems and generative search.
Is this page set up in a way AI answers can use?
When you write for AI search, the same short list of basics keeps coming up: markup, clear structure, question-led sections, concrete figures, named sources and definitions a model can lift in one sentence. This checker runs through that list against content you paste in and marks each item present or absent. Treat it as a fast first pass. It works by spotting keywords and tags, not by reading for meaning, and the analysis runs in your browser without contacting your site.
Step by step
- Decide what to test. For the markup check, copy the page's HTML source. For a truer length figure, copy only the text a visitor sees.
- Paste it into the large content box, which is the only input the check reads.
- Press the analyze button. Results appear in five groups: Structured Data, Content Structure, Authority Signals, Entity Clarity and Content Depth.
- Look at the score at the bottom. Each of the eight checks is worth one eighth of the total, and the grade is A, B, C or D depending on the percentage.
What to watch for
Because every test is a text search, false passes are common. The citations test is satisfied by the word "research" in a menu item or "case study" in a footer. The statistics test accepts any number directly followed by "k", so "5 kg" in a recipe counts. The FAQ test is satisfied by the bare word FAQ, so a footer link with that label is enough. False fails happen too: the tool misses a question heading whose text sits inside a link or other inner tag, a definition written as "X means Y", and a JSON-LD block added by a plugin when you paste only the article text. The length test treats everything between tags as words, including JavaScript. Read each row before acting on the score.
Questions people ask
Does a high score mean AI tools will cite my page?
No. The score counts features, not quality or authority, and no AI provider has published a rule tying these checks to citations. It is a reminder list for structure, nothing more.
Does the tool look at my live page?
No. It never contacts your site and grades only the text in the box, which also means unpublished drafts work just as well.
Is 500 words a target I should hit?
It is simply the threshold this tool uses for its depth check. Write as much as the topic needs; a short, precise answer can be the right page.
