Enhancements reports

Enhancements Reports are a group of reports in Google Search Console that show how Google understands the structured data and special page features on your site, and whether those features are valid, have warnings, or contain errors. They cover items such as breadcrumbs, FAQs, product snippets, reviews, videos, and sitewide experience signals, helping you confirm that your pages qualify for rich results.

Each report focuses on one feature type and appears in the Enhancements section only when Google detects relevant markup or signals on your pages. For a structured-data type like Products or Breadcrumbs, the report lists valid items, items with warnings, and items with errors, along with the specific issue and example URLs. Warnings mean the feature still works but is missing recommended properties, while errors can disqualify the item from rich results.

The reports are diagnostic. After you fix a markup problem and deploy the change, you use the validation flow to ask Google to re-evaluate the affected URLs, then watch the report confirm the fix as pages are recrawled. This makes them the practical place to manage eligibility for enhanced listings over time, rather than guessing whether your schema is correct.

It is worth remembering that being valid makes a feature eligible for rich results, not guaranteed to receive them, since Google decides per query whether to show them. The Page Experience and Core Web Vitals reports also sit in this area and draw on field data about real-user loading performance, complementing the structured-data reports with a view of how pages perform for visitors.
