Technical Definition
CTR is the ratio of clicks to impressions, expressed as a percentage. In SEO: clicks from search results divided by impressions. Available in Google Search Console. Higher CTR indicates compelling titles and descriptions. Varies by position: position 1 has higher CTR than position 10. May indirectly affect rankings.
Simple Explanation (ELI13)
CTR stands for Click-Through Rate. If your page appears in search results 100 times and gets clicked 5 times, your CTR is 5%. Higher CTR means your title and description are compelling. You can see your CTR in Google Search Console and try to improve it with better titles.
